Shae Keeley, MT-BC is a Board Certified music therapist who received her Bachelor of Science in music therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1997.  After completing an internship at the Denton State School in Denton, Texas, Shae established a successful private practice working with various populations such as Geriatric Psych, Alzheimer’s, and Early Childhood as well as a becoming a contract Music Therapist with Mansfield ISD which eventually grew into a full time position. Shae has been providing music therapy services to children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3 to 22 for the past 12 years. Shae has presented at Regional Music Therapy conferences, preschools, local school districts, and at in-services and workshops within MISD. Currently, Shae writes music based educational curriculum for each of the special education programs within the MISD school system.   Shae is happily married, enjoys participating in half marathons, gardening and attending activities for their amazing children.

 Shae's talents lie with working with those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Communication Disorders, Special Education classrooms, Early Childhood Intervention programs and Geriatrics specifically Alzheimer's.

Shae Keeley MT-BC will be re locating to the Reno area in July of 2013.
Sessions will begin September 1, 2013

Please let me know if you are interested in joining a Mommy and Me music group.
Groups will be based on age not abilitiy. Music Therapy Interventions will be desinged to assist children with all abilities to meet developmental milestones.
